These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the McTaba Labs website, courses, materials, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent you have parental consent.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
3. Use of Services
- Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the platform.
- Do not share paid course materials publicly without written permission.
- Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abuse of community members.
4. Intellectual Property
All course content, branding, and materials are owned by McTaba Labs or its licensors. Limited, non-transferable access is granted for personal learning purposes.
5. Payments & Subscription Model
Fees are displayed at checkout. By making a payment — whether as a one-time upfront payment or through an installment plan — you acknowledge that you are paying for a subscription to our training programs and educational services. You authorize us or our payment partners to process charges. Local taxes may apply. If you are on an installment plan, you remain responsible for all remaining payments regardless of whether you continue to participate in the program.
6. No-Refund Policy
All payments made to McTaba Labs are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be processed once a receipt has been generated and sent to you confirming your payment. By completing any payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted our Refund Policy. You may request a one-time deferral to a future cohort in lieu of a refund, subject to availability.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, rights granted to you cease immediately.
8. Disclaimers
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job placement or specific career outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles.
