The McTaba Story
McTaba started with a simple observation: African developers were being taught how to build apps for Silicon Valley, but not for Nairobi, Lagos, or Accra.
While the world was moving to 5G, the majority of African businesses still relied on M-Pesa, USSD, and WhatsApp to reach their customers. There was a massive gap between "modern tech" and "African reality."
We founded McTaba Labs to bridge that gap. We created a curriculum that teaches the highest standards of software engineering while focusing on the integrations that actually drive commerce on the continent.
