No! We start from the absolute basics and build up. Many of the most successful students had zero coding experience before joining. What matters most is your motivation to learn and willingness to put in the work.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

Plan for 20-25 hours per week: 5 live classes (7.5 hours), self-paced learning (3-5 hours), and projects (3-5 hours).

What if I fall behind or need extra help?

You'll have access to instructors during office hours, a private student community for peer support, and all class recordings. If you need to pause, we offer one free cohort extension.

Yes! We offer flexible payment plans: KSh 20,000 upfront + KSh 20,000/month for 5 months (total KSh 120,000). No interest or hidden fees. Payment via M-PESA or bank transfer.

We have 5 live classes per week on Google Meet. All sessions are recorded so you can catch up if you miss one. Plus self-paced materials available 24/7.

What computer do I need?

Any laptop or desktop from the last 5 years works fine. Windows, Mac, or Linux. Minimum 8GB RAM recommended. You don't need an expensive machine to learn coding.

Our part-time track runs for 6 months with classes in the evenings (6-8pm) and Saturdays — designed for working professionals. The full-time track covers the same material in 4 months. It's challenging but definitely doable with commitment.

Can I join if I'm outside Nairobi?

Yes. Classes are live online. You can join from anywhere in Africa with a stable internet connection.

The African Stack is our term for the set of technologies that power real African businesses: M-Pesa and Airtel Money for payments, USSD for feature phone access, and WhatsApp Business API for customer communication. These are the integrations Kenyan employers actually need.
