Training for your own staff

What your team learns
Track 03 is Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. It moves from raw data to decisions:
- Data literacy: reading a number and asking where it came from.
- SQL, so people stop waiting for someone to pull a report.
- Advanced reporting and dashboarding.
- Python for analytics.
- KPI design: choosing the few measures that run the business.
- Data storytelling, so a chart leads to a decision in the meeting.

Who it suits
Operations, finance, product and strategy teams. Think of the branch manager who rebuilds the same stock report every Monday, or the finance team reconciling mobile money statements by hand. No prior coding is assumed, and we agree the level with you on the first call.
Format, duration and outcome
Duration: 3 to 8 weeks, depending on team size and starting level.
Outcome: executive dashboards and reporting pipelines tied to the metrics that run the business. The deliverable and KPIs are agreed before we start, then the team is assessed and certified against them.

- Do you run a public data analytics course for individuals?
- This page is for company teams. Individuals can look at our public Data Science programme on the Data Science page, which is a separate offer with its own intake.
- Can you train on our own data?
- Yes, that is the preferred way. We tailor examples and projects to your sector, and we agree what data can be used during the needs assessment.
- Which tools do you teach?
- It depends on your team. SQL, Python and dashboarding tools are in the track, and we agree the tool set with you on the first call.
- Is it on-site or online?
- Either, or both. The three delivery modes are on-site, virtual and hybrid.
- How much does it cost?
- Pricing depends on how many people you train, how long it runs, the delivery mode and the level. We quote after the needs assessment call, in a written proposal, so you see the number before you commit to anything.
