Breaking Into Tech | Connect & Code
130+ attendees came together for the first Mctaba Connect & Code session — industry speaker sessions, breakout rooms, project showcases, and the start of a community.
Where it all started
Breaking Into Tech was the first Mctaba Connect & Code session. Over 130 attendees filled Hackhouse Africa to hear from software engineers, founders, product designers, and cybersecurity leaders about what it actually takes to build a career in tech.
The day featured speaker sessions, breakout rooms, community project showcases, an opportunity lounge, and open networking. Attendees left with direct connections to industry professionals and a clear picture of the pathways available to them.
